Suddenly on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at the age of 52. Dear father of Jaclyn, Jamie, Jen and Charmaine. Cherished Son of Ina and the late Charles Coats (2003). Beloved brother of Anne Oliver, Wilma Archer (Dave Kapitan), Marie Taylor and Karen (Dwayne Hall). Charles will also be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral Service will be held at Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First Street, Orangeville, on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at 2:30 p.m. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. Memorial donations to an Education Fund (Cheques made payable to J. Coats) for his children would be appreciated by the family.
A Celebration of Charlie's life will also be held in his home town of Norwood, details to follow.
A tree will be planted in memory of Charles in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. A dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 10, 2017 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.dodsandmcnair.com
