Suddenly at his home in Orangeville on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 in his 93rd year. Beloved husband of Doreen (2013). Loving father of Bob Thomson of Kitchener and Carol Reso and her husband Randy of Orangeville. Cherished grandfather of Michael Thomson, Jeffrey Reso (Tamara), Jason Reso (Denise), and Joshua Reso (Nancy). Beloved great-grandfather of Dan Reso, Ava Reso, Aiden Thomson, Alexis Thomson, Kathryn Reso and Isla Reso.
Al will be greatly missed by other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service will be held at Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First St., Orangeville on Wednesday, January 30 , 2019 at 2:30 p.m. with visitation beginning at 1:30 p.m.
Family interment - Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Breslau.
Memorial donations in memory of Al may be made to the Alzheimer Society.
A tree will be planted in memory of Al in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. A dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 8th, 2019 at 2:30 p.m.
