Suddenly on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at the age of 63. Survived by Marilyn, and his daughter Samantha. Brother to Doug (Sharon), David (Amanda), John (Candra) and Janice (Scott). Steve will also be greatly missed by many other relatives and friends and his canine friend and companion Ginger.
Visitation will be held at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First St., Orangeville on Saturday, January 12, 2019 from 1:30 to 3:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel at 3:00 p.m. Reception to follow in the funeral home reception centre. Memorial donations to goldenrescue.ca would be appreciated by the family to honour Steve's love of golden retrievers.
A tree will be planted in memory of Steve in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. The annual dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 8, 2019 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.dodsandmcnair.com
