O'Donnell, Neil Melvyn
Suddenly at his home in Mono, Thursday, February 21, 2019 at the age of 81.
Beloved husband to Virginia O'Donnell for 51 years.
Dear Father of Billy (1973), James, Karen Rogers (Darrell) and Kevin (Cathy).
Cherished Grandfather of Kyle, Ryan, Ashley, Jessica (Joseph), Shelby, Thomas and Kellen.
Special Great-Grandpa Duck to Carter and Ruby. Loving Paw to Daisey.
Remembered by his sisters Karen White (Roy) and Penny Howard (Ray-deceased) and his brother Gary (Adrienne).
Neil will be remembered for his many accomplishments:
45 Years Aircraft Inspector for Air Canada
15 years with Ontario Ski Patrol
20 Year Volunteer Firefighter - Caledon Fire Services
Proud Owner and Pilot to his 1938 Piper Cub
Neil will also be greatly missed by other relatives and many friends.
A Celebration of Neil's life will be held at Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre,
21 First St. Orangeville on Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at 2:30 p.m. with visitation beginning at 1:30 p.m.
Neil's passion for flying started at a young age as an Air Cadet.
In lieu of flowers please send Memorial donations to Air Cadet League of Canada (www.aircadetleague.com) would be appreciated by the family.

A tree will be planted in memory of Neil in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. The annual dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 8, 2019 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.dodsandmcnair.com

Ginny & Family, It was my pleasure to have met Neil and experience his wonderful contageous zest for life. Hes made so many fabulous positive impressions on my family. Its been a pleasure. Neil: may you forever be soaring the skies and the slopes!

Neil will certainly be missed by so many. He was a great neighbour, always taking time to stop for a chat, share a story, or tell a joke. He was a man full in heart with so much to give to so many.
