Kathryn Cory, née Brennan
Family and friends are grieved to say goodbye to Kathryn, who died at home at age 62. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister; a memorable and fun-loving cousin, aunt, and sister-in-law; a generous and vivacious friend and colleague; and a passionate and inventive teacher. Survived by her daughter Heather Cory (Spencer); grandchildren Grace, Michael, and Liz; brother Mike Brennan and sister Kelly Adams (Vaughan). Predeceased by her husband David, son Michael, mother Rita Etmanski, and father Len Brennan.
A Funeral Service will be held for Kathryn at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First St., Orangeville on Friday, May 24 at 2:30 p.m.; Visitation will be prior to the Service from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m., a reception will follow.
As Kathryn loved animals and always went out of her way to aid animal welfare, donations are requested to Ontario SPCA to benefit the Orangeville & District Animal Centre.
A tree will be planted in memory of Kathryn in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. The annual dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 8, 2019 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.dodsandmcnair.com
