Peacefully at home on Tuesday, January 1, 2019 at the age of 70. Beloved husband of Jacqueline Lemay. Dear father of Stephane (Jan), Johanne (Derek Leduc) and Alain (Shannon). Cherished Grandpapa of Katelyn, Dawson, Julia, Sarah and Alexander. Loving brother of Jean Guy (Louise), Raymond (Danielle) and the late Gilles (Viviane). Dear son of the late Lucien and Jeanne d'Arc Lemay. Denis also leaves his brother-in-law Jacques Vachon and sister-in-law Lise Deschambault. Denis will also be greatly missed by other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First St., Orangeville on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Timothy Catholic Church on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. A reception to follow at Dods & McNair Reception Centre after the Mass. Memorial donations to Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
A tree will be planted in memory of Denis in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. The annual dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 8, 2019 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.dodsandmcnair.com
