Peacefully surrounded by her loving family at Headwaters Health Care Centre on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at the age of 73. Beloved wife of the late Edward Johnston (Papa) (2008). Dear mother of Wendy Bauer (Mike), Steven Kalte (Kim) and Shelley Roorda (Tim). Cherished grandmother of Michael, Branden, Nicholas, Austin, Emily and Predeceased by baby Hope (2006). Loving sister of Sue Tiffin and Dalton Tiffin (Don). Darlene will also be greatly missed by other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First St., Orangeville on Friday, January 25, 2019 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Memorial donations in lieu of flowers to Bethell Hospice Foundation or the Salvation Army would be appreciated by the family.
A tree will be planted in memory of Darlene in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. The annual dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 8, 2019 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.dodsandmcnair.com
